SigmaPlot 11.2

SigmaStat version 3.5

logo

SigmaStat is designed for researchers who need a statistical consultant to help minimise these risks. It is the first and only statistical software program on the market that guides you through your entire statistical analysis.

This is done by recommending the test to run, checking for violations in the underlying assumptions of the test, handling messy data, running the appropriate test, and printing an explanation of the results.

Run t-tests, ANOVAs, nonparametric statistics, correlations, regressions, z-tests, Chi-square, post hoc tests, power and sample size and more. Perform one-way, two-way or three-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with post hoc tests and one- and two-way repeated measures ANOVA. If a significant difference is found between groups, SigmaStat automatically selects the appropriate multiple comparison tests and runs the test you choose.

Features

Expert guidance in analysing your research, SigmaStat ensures that you

  • Use the proper statistical method to analyse your data.
  • Avoid the risk of statistical error.
  • Interpret the results correctly.
  • Generate an appropriate display and a professional report.
  • Be sure you've analysed your data correctly.

The Advisor Wizard guides you in correctly analysing your research findings

  • Asks a few basic questions about your research
  • Suggests the appropriate statistical test
  • Checks your data against the test's underlying assumptions
  • Suggests another test, if your data violates any of original test's assumptions
  • Provides a report interpreting the results, in terms you can understand

SigmaStat Report Editor

  • You can navigate through this report, and then edit and print it just as you do any document created with word processing software.

SigmaStat Report Graphs

  • Instantly visualise the results of your analysis by clicking on one of the pre-selected graphs types suggested by SigmaStat.

SigmaStat Graph Wizard

  • Create graphs in a variety of formats, without reformatting your data. Then customise them, using SigmaPlot editing tools. Create: Point plots, Box plots, Bar charts and histograms, Scatterplots, Step plots, Survival curves and more.

Access to SigmaPlot

  • Share files between SigmaStat and SigmaPlot, the leading software application for scientific graphing. (Requires SigmaPlot 8.0.2 or higher).

SigmaStat is used by thousands of research scientists worldwide to

  • Compare effects among groups, including before-and-after or repeated measures studies
  • Conduct survival and reliability analyses
  • Analyse rates and proportions
  • Perform regression and correlation analyses
  • Calculate power and sample size

Statistical tests

  • SigmaStat includes all the statistical tests most frequently used to analyse scientific research.
