Origin 8 Wins Product of the Month Award 

For the second time, NASA Tech Briefs has awarded OriginLab “Product of the Month”, this time for its new software release of Origin 8 in their July 2007 issue. This award will now put Origin 8 in the running for “Product of the Year” which will be determined in the January, 2008 issue of NASA Tech Briefs.

Origin wins Gold Award for Graphics Software for 2007

For the seventh year in a row, Origin has won the Reader’s Choice award for Graphics Software from Scientific Computing (formerly Scientific Computing & Instrumentation). The results of the survey, which are featured in the July 2006 issue of the magazine, were compiled by ballots cast by readers of SC&I.

For the sixth year in a row, Origin has won the Reader’s Choice award for Graphics Software from Scientific Computing and Instrumentation. The results of the survey, which are featured in the July 2006 issue of the magazine, were compiled by ballots cast by readers of SC&I. For this year, the awards given had new designations of Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The editors felt that this change contributed to better presentation of products that delivered the best quality reliability, ease-of-use, technical support and value in each category.

Origin voted number 1 Presentation Graphics Software for 2005

For the 5th year in a row, Origin has won the Reader’s Choice award for Graphics Software from Scientific Computing and Instrumentation. The results of the survey, which are featured in the July 2005 issue of the magazine, were compiled by ballots cast by readers of SC&I. Readers were asked to vote for products normally encountered in work, which met several criteria. Favorite products were based on their personal evaluation of quality, reliability, ease-of-use, technical support, and value.

Origin was chosen as a Top Product by Scientific Computing and Instrumentation in 2004 for Statistical Data Analysis.

In the July 2004 issue of Scientific Computing & Instrumentation, Origin won the Readers' Choice Award for Presentation Graphics Software. This is the 5th consecutive year that Origin has won a Readers' Choice Award. Origin's selection is especially noteworthy since the magazine's readers were the sole judges for the awards. Readers were asked to vote for products normally encountered in work, which met several criteria. Favorite products were based on their personal evaluation of quality, reliability, ease-of-use, technical support, and value. Origin has also been selected by the readers as a finalist in the Data Analysis Category.

OriginPro wins “Best in Test” award

The technical editors of Test & Measurement World annually choose a handful of products that they believe are particularly innovative or useful. Nominations in their 2003 “Best in Test” competition came from both manufacturers and users of products that were introduced between November 1, 2001 and October 31, 2002. OriginPro was the only scientific software listed in their twelve “Best in Test” products.

Origin wins "Product of the Month" Award

NASA Tech Briefs has voted Origin 7 as a "Product of the Month" in their January, 2002 issue. Origin 7 is now in the running for the magazine's "Product of the Year", which will be determined in January 2003.

In the July 2001 Readers Choice Awards issue of Scientific Computing & Instrumentation Magazine, the leading source for computer, instrument and automation technology for science, Origin was voted #1 in the readers Choice Awards for Presentation Graphics Software. In the same issue of Scientific Computing & Instrumentation Magazine, Origin was chosen as a finalist in the Data Analysis Software Category.
