IREX 1.0
Customer Success Story
Hawker De Havilland, a fully owned subsidiary of Boeing, needed a proactive and systematic approach to project risk management that reflected the iterative and continuous process that occurs throughout the lifecycle of projects. In order to meet this critical need, Hawker de Havilland implemented IREX across the organisation and integrated it as part of its culture.
"Hawker de Havilland now uses IREX to manage risks in a variety of complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects such as the manufacture of aircraft components for the new-generation Boeing 787 Dreamliner", - Dr. Adrian Rispler, Engineering Operations Manager, Hawker de Havilland.
Hawker de Havilland is designing and building trailing edge control surfaces such as the flaps, ailerons and spoilers for the 787 Dreamliner. Hawker de Havilland has offices at Fishermans Bend in Melbourne and Bankstown in Sydney and is a major sole source supplier of aero-structure assemblies to the world aircraft industry, exporting its manufactured products to the USA, France, UK and Canada.
Hawker de Havilland has an enterprise wide commercial license for IREX enabling all staff members to access the system via a web browser.
