Genomatix Tools
Introduction
Various tools for sequence statistics, extraction, formatting, and other tasks.
- Reverse-complement sequence(s)
Example:- Input sequence: ACTTGAGGCATTTATACC, Reverse-complement: GGTATAAATGCCTCAAGT - Extract parts of sequence(s)
Example:- Input sequence: ACTTGAGGCATTTATACC Extracted: GAGGCATTTA - Extract sequence(s) from database
Extract sequences from databases by (a list of) accession numbers, e.g. U01317, Z13985. The extracted sequences can be saved in different sequence formats to your local hard disk and used as data set for subsequent GEMS Launcher analyses - Reformat sequence(s)
Reformat your DNA sequences from one format (e.g. GenBank) into another format (e.g. FASTA). Supported sequence formats are: IG, FASTA, GenBank, and EMBL. - Create sequence statistics
The following statistics can be created for your sequences:
1. AT/GC-content
2. mono-nucleotides
3. di-nucleotides
4. tri-nucleotides - Compare (merge/intersect) two lists
Compare two lists of elements (e.g. sequence names or accession numbers). The result shows the union and the intersection of the two lists as well as the elements that are in only one of the two lists.
