SPSS Inc. has updated its system files for its newly released SPSS 8.0 and has made this DLL file available for public to use. Before downloading this file, you should backup the SPSSIO16.DLL in your EQS directory (i.e. C:\EQS). The newly download SPSSIO16.DLL file should be able to read *.sav files for both SPSS 7.x and SPSS 8.x. To start downloading, please do the following: Go to the EQS directory (i.e. C:\EQS) and make a backup copy of the SPSSIO16.DLL file. Click on the highlighted Dynamic Link Library to read SPSSŪ *.SAV files at the previous page to obtain a dialog box. Select the - Save on Disk - option on the confirmation dialog box. Make sure that you save the download file in the EQS directory. When you are asked for the file name to be saved, the file name must be "spssio16.dll" (without quotes). Confirm YES if you are asked to override the previous version. After download is complete, you will get a new SPSSIO16.DLL in the your EQS directory. The file size should be 107,392 bytes.
