PTC Software

PTC is the new owner/developer of the Mathcad product line. Hearne will remain the primary agent for Mathcad in Australia in addition to handling PTC's other products; ProEngineer, Windchill and Arbortext. Hearne Scientific is the only training provider for Mathcad software in Australia.

AccuRate

Universities and industry continue to quickly adopt CSIRO's AccuRate software to help with compliance with Australia's national house energy rating scheme.

AccuRate is still the only 2nd generation house energy rating software approved in Australia. AccuRate enables compliance now and will enable compliance in the future to the Australian national house energy rating scheme. As government regulation changes the CSIRO and the Australian Greenhouse office will update the AccuRate software as required.

CLIMEX and DYMEX

CLIMEX and DYMEX version 3 are due for general release at the end of November, 2006. These long awaited upgrades include a range of new features requested by user's from around the world.

Research Connections and Consulting has used CLIMEX to examine the potential distribution of genetically modified Cotton in Australia. RSS Web Service

In the coming weeks Hearne Scientific will deploy an RSS web service, which will give Hearne customers the option to choose whichever of the feed services they feel best keeps them up to date in their area of interest. Feeds available will include, mathematical, statistics, environmental, risk management, programming, graphing, engineering and chemistry.
