AccuRate predictions compared with monitored data

In order to validate the heating and cooling energy requirements predicted by AccuRate, a comparison was made with detailed monitoring of heating and cooling energy data for 6 suburban Adelaide houses over 2 years.

This study was conducted at the Sustainable Energy Centre, University of South Australia, by Professor Wasim Saman, Associate Professor Monica Oliphant, Mr. Lachlan Mudge and Dr. Edward Halawa. View this report>>

AccuRate is the fully featured software package developed by CSIRO for rating the energy efficiency of residential building designs. AccuRate is the software foundation the Australian and New Zealand House Energy Rating Scheme's are built on.

Your Software Licensing Options

As a user of one of the programs which we distribute, you may want to consider or reconsider the case for moving to a site licence arrangement.

For some programs, e.g., SYSTAT, it is possible to purchase a one user floating licence. This means that anyone in the organisation can use the program, but only one user at a time can use it. Multi-user floating licences are common. For many clients of ours, this is a very cost effective arrangement, particularly, where there are a few regular users and various people who use the program only occasionally.

It is also possible to negotiate a site licence for the entire organisation at a very low cost per user. We have been organising site licences that optimise usage and cost for many organisations, from large multi-national corporations to small enterprises, for over 20 years.

At the university level, we have arranged for thousands of students and staff at department, faculty or university level to have access to site licences for various programs.

Site Licence Benefits

  • Much cheaper per head
  • Simplified purchasing and administration
  • Improved software asset management
  • Ensures all users have the latest version
  • Qualify for free technical support, updates and upgrades for the term of the licence.

You can build an outline of the details of the site licence you might have in mind on our web site, at www.hearne.com.au/licence and we will give you a cost based on your figures, or, if required we can give you a range of costs for different site licence configurations.
