Licensing Details
A single user license for AccuRate provides individuals or companies the right to install the software onto a single PC for a single designated person to use*.
Users with Standard Maintenance receive software updates, technical support, AccuRate Tips ‘n’ Tools newsletter, custom library files, a home-use license and license transfer help. Maintenance contracts are for a 12 month term and can be renewed annually.
Without maintenance, users receive 30 days of installation support after initial license purchase.
All licensed users receive software patches and bug fixes free of charge via download. What is determined as a free patch or bug fix for all users is determined by CSIRO and Energy Rating Software Support**.
It is recommended users purchase maintenance at the same time as the purchase of AccuRate. Maintenance can be purchased after the initial purchase of AccuRate. When purchasing at a later date users are required to back pay maintenance to the initial date of AccuRate purchase and pay 12 months forward maintenance. If you are a user of AccuRate without maintenance and are now interested in purchasing maintenance, contact us for a quote.
The license to use the AccuRate software is for an indefinite period, technical aspects of the installation process limit its use to the PC on which it was initially installed. Hearne Scientific Software and CSIRO are under no obligation to provide users without maintenance the right to transfer licenses or issue additional installation codes.
A license with current maintenance is entitled to 1 initial installation and then 1 re-installation per year. If a person leaves and the company would like to re-assign a license to a new person this is allowed. There is a limit of one re-assignment or one re-installation per license per year. Additional installation requests are considered on a case by case bases.
