Hearne staffer wins Rhodes scholarship

Alex Wyatt, who worked at Hearne throughout his university course, has been awarded a Rhodes scholarship to complete his PhD at Oxford University.

"The knowledge and experience I gained at Hearne was very valuable to me and it strengthened my application for the Rhodes scholarship. Even though I will be at Oxford, I will continue to be in touch with Hearne via email."

We wish Alex well at Oxford and hope that he will return to Hearne one day. Don't forget to show those pommies how to bowl Alex.
