This free 2 hour seminar is for any civil engineer who works with conventionally reinforced & post-tensioned concrete, particularly flat slab floors for multi storied buildings.
Those who are structural consultants and design firms who are engaged in design of concrete structures, such as, shopping malls, parking lots and other industrial/commercial structures should consider attending this seminar.
Seminar topics;
- Latest advances in 2D EFM and 3D FEM slab & raft design software
- Rapid design using advanced 2D Equivalent Frame Method software
- State-of-the-art use of 3D FEM analysis and design for optimised slab designs
- Efficient creation of rebar drawings
- Automated creation of post-tensioning shop drawings
- Integration with Autodesk Revit Structure
- Integration with general AEC software for lateral analysis (e.g., ETABS)
- All presentations will be based around live product demonstrations of ADAPT software.

Presenter: Dr. Florian Aalami.
Dr. Aalami holds a Ph.D. in engineering from Stanford University. He is Executive Vice President of ADAPT Corporation and is responsible for the company’s overall product development strategy and international business development activity. Florian's extensive career in AEC software development includes his founding of BuildPoint Corporation, where he served as CTO and Vice President of Business Development.
