Hearne to showcase Intel Software Development Products

AGDC

24 November, 2005

Hearne Scientific Software will be showcasing the Intel Software Development products at the Australian Game Developers Conference.

The Australian Game Developers Conference (AGDC) is Australia's leading forum where industry professionals gather to discuss the latest in cutting edge technology and the changing face of the game development industry. AGDC attracts approximately 1000 Australian and International delegates each year. AGDC runs December 1-3, 2005, Federation Square, Melbourne, Australia.

Conference sessions include a mixture of keynotes, technical panels and tutorials presented by industry leaders from game design, development, publishing and platforms. Tutorials concentrate on specific development platforms as well as introduce new tools. Attendees learn from the actual developers and designers that have developed some of most creative games in the industry. Technical sessions will continue to teach game developers about video, audio, programming, game design and production.

Hearne Scientific Software will be on booth 12 between Multimedia Victoria and W.A. Department of Industry and Resources. The entire range of Intel Software Development products will be on display. Intel Australia will be showcasing the Intel Hardware range on booths 14 and 15.

The Intel Software Development Products are a full suite of tools that can help developers easily create the fastest software possible on Intel architecture. Intel Software Development Products are compatible with the leading development environments available today, and are easy to use with the tools developers are already utilising to tune their software.

Intel's much hyped multi-core and Hyper-Threading processor technology doesn't translate to better performance unless software developers can take advantage of its additional processing power. To enable programmers to develop software that takes advantage of the new architecture, Intel provides the tools to help developers optimise their code.
