DYMEX and CLIMEX workshops

Due to popular demand, Hearne Scientific Software will be organising more DYMEX and CLIMEX workshops for 2005.

The DYMEX workshop teaches process-based or mechanistic modelling of population dynamics, using the DYMEX modular modelling software, with worked examples of insects and plants. This workshop typically runs for 5 days.

The CLIMEX workshop teaches a different type of modelling, called 'inverse' or 'inferential' modelling using the CLIMEX climate-matching software. CLIMEX is used to infer the climatic responses of a species from its geographical distribution. This workshop typically runs for 4 days.

The locations for these workshops are Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
